Buy Premium version

Due to App Engine's datastore limitations, gae-search and all other available search solutions for App Engine (including SearchableModel) do not scale beyond several 10,000s large indexed entities. Also, since we're working on a large new project we can't provide support for new customers, anymore, so we offer a cheaper Premium package without support because some people were still interested in the Premium version.

Note: This is a one-time fee — you can continue to use gae-search after the free upgrade period.

gae-search requires at least app-engine-patch 1.0.2 (a Django port for App Engine). It does not work with django-helper or webapp.

Required outside of EU and USA
Required for companies in the EU for VAT reverse-charge (otherwise, you have to pay VAT).
Not needed for German companies.

We provide a simpler Free version for personal, non-commercial use and a full-featured Premium version which can be used in commercial products.

You can download the Free version directly without registering. If you use the Free version you have to place the following attribution at the top of your search results and in your website's footer:
