License agreement
IMPORTANT - READ BEFORE COPYING, INSTALLING OR USING!
Do not copy, install, or use the "Materials" (software, documentation, sample code, license keys, and other materials, including any updates) provided under this license agreement ("Agreement"), until you have carefully read the following terms and conditions.
By copying, installing, or otherwise using the Materials, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not copy, install, or use the Materials.
If any limitations, terms, or disclaimers of this license are not allowed by your respective law then you may not use the Materials without a relaxed license. Contact Waldemar Kornewald & Thomas Wanschik GbR ("Licensor") to check if Licensor can provide a relaxed license to you.
License grant
We grant you ("Licensee"/"You"/"you"/"Your"/"your") a non-exclusive, non-assignable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Materials for the applicable product on this website.
License restrictions
You may NOT:
- remove any copyright notice from the Materials
- use or copy the Materials except as provided in this Agreement
- rent, lease, assign, transfer, or sublicense the Materials, in whole or in part, except as provided in this Agreement
- distribute the Materials or modifications thereof as part of any product/service that has the same or substantially the same primary functionality, or is competitive to the Materials, or could be described as a development toolkit or library, or is intended for use by software developers and not end-users
The scope and duration (time period) of your license depends on the type of license you obtained from Licensor. The variety of license types are set forth below:
Free license
You may only use the Materials for personal, non-commercial products (advertisement-supported products are considered commercial). You have to place the following attribution at the top of your search results and in your website's footer:

You have the right to install and use the Materials on any number of workstations and deploy the Materials as part of your personal, non-commercial products in connection with unlimited domains and sub-domains on unlimited servers.
There is no support and no guarantee for free upgrades.
Premium license
You have the right to designate up to five individuals in your organization to install and use the Materials on any number of workstations used exclusively by those individuals and deploy the Materials as part of your products in connection with unlimited domains and sub-domains on unlimited servers.
You have the right to apply for free-of-charge software updates (including major releases) on the Materials within 6 months since purchasing the Materials. After that period you may continue to use releases you had obtained as long as you adhere to the terms of this License agreement. A support package is not included.
Support
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to assist you to resolve problems in your use of the Materials. We make no guarantee that we can, or will, solve any problems with respect to the Materials, and further disclaim any warranties above and beyond any limited warranties that may have been expressly made in this License agreement.
A support request can be filed via email or our contact form (see our contact page) and consists of a complete conversation thread related to one single problem that can't reasonable be separated into individual problems.
No warranties
The Materials are provided "AS IS" with no warranties, either express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability, quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement of intellectual property rights, or any warranty otherwise arising out of any specification, proposal, or sample. We do not warrant that the Materials meet your needs, be free from errors, or that the operations of the Materials will be uninterrupted.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of an implied warranty, so this disclaimer may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
In no event will Licensor be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information, or other loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Materials, even if Licensor has been adviced of the possibility of such damages. Licensor's cumulative liability to you or any other party for any loss or damages resulting from any claims, demands, or actions arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall not exceed the license fee paid to Licensor for use of the Materials.
Unauthorized use
You agree to prevent any unauthorized copying of the Materials. In case of unauthorized copying we have the right to immediately terminate your contracts with us, deactivate your registration key, and revoke your license and any usage rights for our products. The Materials are not designed, intended, or authorized for use in any type of system or application in which the failure of the Materials could create a situation where personal injury or death may occur (e.g. medical systems, life sustaining or life saving systems). Should the buyer purchase or use the Materials for any such unintended or unauthorized use, the buyer shall indemnify and hold ur and Licensor's officers, subsidiaries and affiliates harmless against all claims, costs, damages, and expenses, and reasonable attorney fees arising out of, directly or indirectly, any claim of product liability, personal injury or death associated with such unintended or unauthorized use, even if such claim alleges that Licensor was negligent regarding the design or implementation of the Materials.
Third party programs
The Materials may contain third party programs. The license terms with those third party programs apply to your use of them.
